Pompeii Art

I chose this picture because it describes the Pomepiian art culture.  I believe that this Colosseum is a perfect depiction of how cultural the people of Pompeii were.  This picture  is a nice description of what the people enjoyed during this time.  Also this coliseum was used to have shows and host events for the people like large parties for all of the people.  The Colosseum was where most of the events were held during this time period.  From anywhere to making people fight battles against each other or watching big plays that would cultivate the entire era.  Most of the people from this time period were extremely interested in art and new cultural findings.  One way to become more popular was to have glorious or magnificent paintings throughout your house.  Also I feel that this Colosseum was used to showcase many of the new artists work throughout the city.
